Opened in November 2016, Nagahama is one of the smallest distilleries in Japan. The pot stills used at the Nagahama Distillery have a very unusual shape and produce a one-of-a-kind unblended whiskey that cannot be tasted anywhere else. Even during aging, the climate of Nagahama City, where there is a temperature difference between hot summers and cold winters, breaths slowly and continues to grow slowly until the day when the barrels are emptied.
